Pomegranate juice is made from the fruit of the subtropical pomegranate tree. Its fruits contain grains, which are enclosed in a dense rind. On the territory of the Russian Federation, the pomegranate tree can be found in the subtropical zone of the Black Sea coast, in the Crimea, Transcaucasia.

Due to the increased demand and high cost, pomegranate juice is often falsified, so when buying it, you need to pay attention to some points. Do not buy a product if the manufacturer is not listed on the label. Azerbaijan is considered one of the best producers of pomegranate juice on the Russian market.

Remember that pomegranate juice is an expensive drink and cheap options usually hide fake. If the label says "nectar" - it is a surrogate.
Step 4
Take the product in a glass bottle, so at least you can see the color and consistency of the drink. The neck of the bottle and the lid must be protected - this is a tightly sealed adjoining thermal film. The bottle cap should be tightly tightened.
Step 5
Carefully examine the label, it must be clearly printed and contain the following information: name, composition of the product, table of nutrients and vitamins, name and address of the manufacturer, date of manufacture. Study the composition of the juice, it should be free of sugar (sweeteners) and dyes.

Natural pomegranate juice is red-burgundy, it looks translucent in the light, the presence of small particles is allowed. A color that is too light and red indicates that it is diluted with water, while a color that is too brown indicates that the juice is made from rinds or rose hips.
Step 7
Pomegranate ripens from September to November, so purchase juice released between September and December. But in the spring and summer, they can make a drink only from rotten or unripe fruits.
