1 bottle of champagne, tissue napkin, paper napkin, glasses
Instructions
Step 1
Place the champagne on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator and refrigerate for about an hour. The bottle should be cool, but not cold, and never frozen.
Step 2
Take the bottle out of the refrigerator and wrap it in a cloth. The napkin should completely cover the label. Do not shake the bottle, but carefully place it on the table.
Step 3
Remove the foil and wire from the neck of the bottle. Place your hand or tissue around the cork. Tilt the bottle 45 degrees to the horizontal. Hold the bottom of the bottle with your hand.
Step 4
While holding the cork with your fingers, gently rotate the bottle one way or the other.
Step 5
When you feel the cork start to come out, tilt it slightly to one side with your thumb.
Step 6
Pour champagne into glasses, directing a stream of champagne to the side of the glass.
