String (asparagus) beans are a very useful product for the human body. It is not only rich in vitamins and minerals, but it is also safe due to its unique ability not to absorb toxins. Therefore, it can be safely given even to small children. Green beans are widely used in cooking. One of the most delicious dishes with her is roast. The beans are soaked in rich roast meat, and the aromatic potatoes will add a feeling of satiety.

It is necessary

  • - pork pulp - 500 g;
  • - potatoes - 1 kg;
  • - frozen green beans - 1 pack (450-500 g);
  • - onions - 3 pcs.;
  • - tomato paste - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - sunflower oil - 50 ml;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt;
  • - a saucepan with a thick bottom, deep frying pan or cauldron.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the meat under running water and cut into small pieces. Peel the onions and potatoes. Chop the onion in half rings, and cut the potatoes into cubes or sticks.

Step 2

Pour sunflower oil into a saucepan (frying pan or cauldron) and heat it well. First, lay the pork and fry until golden brown. Then add the onion and fry it with the meat for 7-8 minutes.

Step 3

Then add the tomato paste, stir it thoroughly with the pork and onion, then cook for 3 minutes.

Step 4

Now add the potatoes and stir them into the contents of the pot so that they are slightly saturated with the tomato fry. After 5 minutes, add the green beans and mix well again.

Step 5

Due to the fact that we use frozen beans, during the heating process it will release a certain volume of water, so at this stage everything can be brought to a boil and covered with a lid. If you like roasts with a lot of liquid, then after adding the beans, you can pour 1 cup of water into a saucepan, bring to a boil, and then reduce the temperature to a low mark and cover with a lid.

Step 6

The cooking time for such roast depends on the type of potato. After 40 minutes, check it and the beans for readiness - if they become soft, you can add salt and black pepper to the dish, and then remove from the stove. Or let it sit still for about 10 minutes.

Step 7

Arrange the prepared roast with green beans in portions, garnish with fresh chopped parsley or dill and serve with pickles or fresh vegetable salad. And also to such a dish it would be very appropriate to offer a glass of kefir.
