It is necessary

  • carrots - 200 g
  • sugar - 100 g
  • wholemeal flour - 200 g
  • semolina - 50 g
  • vegetable oil - 50 ml
  • orange - 1 pc.
  • peeled banana - 50 g
  • peeled apple - 50 g
  • raisins - 50 g
  • sunflower seeds - 50 g
  • water - 150 ml
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • apple cider vinegar - 2 tsp
  • carob, cocoa, powdered sugar - to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the raisins and soak them in purified water. Wash carrots and fruits. Peel the carrots, grate them on a fine grater. Also rub the orange on a fine grater to remove the zest from it. Cut the orange into halves and squeeze the juice out of it.

Step 2

In a deep bowl, combine all of the bulk ingredients - whole grain flour, semolina, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Then add grated carrots and orange zest to this mixture. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Pour the following ingredients into the blender bowl: water, vegetable oil, orange juice, vinegar. Add peeled fruits: apple and banana. Grind with a blender until smooth.

Step 4

Combine the whisked fruit puree with the dry flour mass. Add soaked raisins and seeds, knead to a homogeneous dough.

Step 5

Grease baking dishes with oil. If you are using silicone molds, then you do not need to lubricate them with oil. Fill the molds with dough to 2/3 of the volume, smooth the surface with a spoon. Bake the muffins at 180 ° C for 15-20 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 150 ° C and leave the muffins in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.

Step 6

Check the muffins are ready. To do this, stick a toothpick into the center of the muffin. If the toothpick remains clean, then the dough is baked and you can turn off the oven.

Step 7

Leave the muffins in the cooling oven for 10 minutes. Then remove the muffins from the molds. Decorate to your liking. For decoration, you can use carob, cocoa, powdered sugar.
