  • - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar
  • - 0.5 teaspoons of baking soda
  • - salt

Step 1

Almost everyone loves curd dough, but it is not always easy to form products from it.

In order for the dough to be homogeneous, you need to wipe the cottage cheese through a sieve or grind it in another way convenient for you. In a separate bowl, mix eggs with sugar well, add 2 tablespoons of sour cream there (the higher the fat content, the better) and add a pinch of salt.

Step 2

10-12 tablespoons of flour (or maybe a little more, it depends on the consistency of the cottage cheese, on the size of the eggs), mix with soda and gradually add to the curd mass, knead well. Form the resulting mass into a sausage (as for dumplings) with a diameter of about 1.5 centimeters and cut into pieces 2 - 2.5 centimeters long.

Step 3

Pour refined sunflower oil into a deep bowl of small diameter, heat it well and carefully lower the curd dough bars we cut (keep in mind that the pieces of dough increase in volume). When the dough is browned, remove the bars and place on a plate covered with 2-3 paper towels to remove excess oil. When serving, place the bars on a plate in a heap and lightly sprinkle with powdered sugar. Curd bars are very good with cocoa.
