Then sprinkle the slices on both sides with a small amount of salt and leave for 20-30 minutes for the tomatoes to let the juice out. After the indicated time, the rings should be blotted with a paper towel, thereby removing the secreted juice.

The next step is to process tomato rings with spices and garlic. A few cloves of garlic should be passed through a garlic press (the number of cloves depends on the number of tomatoes taken and individual taste preferences), mix the mass with your favorite spices, a spoon or two of any vegetable oil and, using a brush, brush the resulting composition of tomato slices on both sides.
Step 4
Then the tomato rings must be laid out in the bowl of the dryer and the device must be turned on, setting the temperature to 45-65 degrees. It is worth remembering that the lower the set temperature, the longer the chips take to cook, but at the same time they retain more vitamins. You can enjoy crispy tomato slices after 10-12 hours.
Step 5
If the house does not have a dryer for fruits and vegetables, then it can be replaced with a conventional "oven". The only thing to consider is that before placing the tomatoes on a baking sheet, it should be covered with parchment, and when drying vegetables, the oven door should be opened every 20-30 minutes (so that moisture does not linger in the oven).
