Mannik is easy and quick to prepare, but it turns out incredibly tasty. It has a porous, friable flesh, a ruddy crust and an appetizing aroma. You can cook manna according to several recipes.
How to cook manna with sour cream
You will need:
- flour;
- 1 tbsp. semolina;
- 1, 5 Art. sour cream;
- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- vanillin;
- a little salt;
- 3 eggs;
- 1/2 tsp soda;
- vinegar or essence;
- butter for greasing the mold.
It is better to cook manna in a stainless or glass container. Break 3 eggs and grind them, add a little salt. Then add semolina in small portions, stir constantly so that there are no lumps. The semolina will swell, and the mass will quickly increase in volume. Now it's the turn for sugar. Again, stirring constantly, add a glass of sugar. It will slightly dissolve and thin the mixture.
Quench the baking soda with vinegar, and when the bubbles stop coming out, pour it into the dough for the manna. Now add sour cream, vanillin and stir again, then start adding flour. It needs so much so that the dough is not very thick, otherwise the manna will turn out to be solid.
Lubricate the dish with heated butter, sprinkle with ground breadcrumbs or semolina. Pour the dough, it should be evenly distributed over the mold. It takes about 20-25 minutes to cook manna on sour cream in an oven with a temperature of 180 ° C. Pierce the pie with a wooden chip: if it is not raw, you can take it out of the oven. When it cools down, sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut into portions and serve with tea.
How to cook manna on kefir
The recipe for this cake is similar to the previous one, only instead of sour cream, you need to take fatty kefir, and put the soda directly into the dough, without extinguishing it with vinegar. The acidity of kefir is quite enough for the reaction to start and the dough turns out to be lush. And to make the manna cake even tastier, add raisins or pieces of dried apricots to the recipe, or prunes. Then you have an excellent semolina cake.
How to cook manna in milk
If you do not have kefir and sour cream, you can make a mannik pie in milk. This dessert is very low in calories and is suitable for those on a diet.
You will need;
- 1 tbsp. fat milk;
- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- 1 tbsp. decoys;
- 3 eggs;
- 1, 5 tsp baking powder for dough;
- salt to taste;
- oil for lubricating the mold.
Break 3 eggs into a glass or stainless steel dish, add milk and whisk. You can use a blender. Mix semolina and sugar in another container, and then add to the milk, being careful not to get lumps. Wait for the semolina to swell. Add salt and baking powder. For taste, you can put vanillin. If the dough is thin, add a little flour.
Prepare a baking dish, for this grease it with vegetable or butter and sprinkle with semolina. Bake the manna in milk in a non-hot oven for about half an hour. Check the doneness with a wooden stick or toothpick. Let the pie cool and serve with jam or just like that.
