Fruit salad with yogurt is a delicious, light and healthy breakfast. Such salads are usually prepared in summer from fresh fruits and berries, but in winter you can pamper yourself with this vitamin delicacy, also made from dried fruits.
Fruit salads go well with yogurt to taste. There are several versions of the appearance of yogurt. According to the first, the angel told the prophet Abraham about the secret of the preparation of this fermented milk product. According to the second version, yoghurts arose thanks to nomadic peoples who made frequent transitions through the desert. During such transitions, milk was curdled and eaten along with pieces of fruit and berries. This is how fruit salads with yoghurt originated.
Fruit salad "Assorted"
Assorted Fruit Salad can be prepared with the following ingredients (for 4 servings):
- tangerine - 2 pcs.;
- kiwi - 2 pcs.;
- banana - 2 pcs.;
- apple - 2 pcs.;
- 150 ml of yogurt.
Peel the bananas and cut into thin slices. Wash the apples, cut in half, core and cut into cubes. Peel and chop tangerines and kiwis in the same way.
Put prepared fruits in a beautiful salad bowl, fill with yogurt. You can use either sweet or classic unsweetened yogurt to your liking. You can decorate this salad with grapes, prunes or other berries.
Depending on the season, you can use any fruits and berries, but be sure to combine them with an apple.
Fruit salad with dried fruits and nuts
A fruit salad with dried fruits and nuts will turn out to be healthy and tasty, made from the following ingredients (for 4 servings):
- apple - 2 pcs.;
- banana - 1 pc.;
- lemon - ½ pc.;
- pear - 1 pc.;
- dried apricots - 7-8 pcs.;
- 50 g of raisins;
- 50 g of walnuts;
- 150 ml of yogurt.
Cut the bananas into slices. Wash the pears and apples, cut in half, core and cut into medium-sized cubes. Put these prepared fruits in a salad bowl.
Wash dried apricots and raisins. Send the raisins to the salad bowl to the fruit, and cut the dried apricots into small slices. Walnuts must be chopped, and then the kernels must be crushed in a mortar. Place in a salad bowl.
Wash the lemon and squeeze the lemon juice into the salad, then season it with yogurt. Stir the salad well and serve chilled to the table.
