Cottage cheese is a healthy product, it must be present both in the children's menu and in the menu of adults. Old cottage cheese cookies
A good recipe for homemade cakes from a pack of old cottage cheese with the addition of oatmeal cookies.
Ingredients:
- 250 g of sour cottage cheese;
- 8 pcs. oatmeal cookies;
- 2 eggs;
- vegetable oil, sugar.
First, crush the oatmeal cookies until crumbly. Rub the sour cottage cheese through a sieve, beat eggs into it, add sugar to taste, mix until smooth.
A baking dish or baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, sprinkle with cookie crumbs.
Shape the curd dough into balls or use curly cutters to create beautiful cookies. Put the blanks in a baking sheet or baking sheet, sprinkle with the remaining crumbs on top.
Bake cookies from old cottage cheese for 30-35 minutes at a temperature of 150 ° C. It should be reddened, while remaining soft inside.
Expired cottage cheese envelopes
Of course, cottage cheese should be taken that is not overdue for a whole week, but only for a few days. Then the cottage cheese, thanks to heat treatment, will be harmless. But if the cottage cheese has an unpleasant smell, has changed its color, then you cannot eat it.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour;
- a pack of cottage cheese (250 g);
- 270 g butter;
- cinnamon, sugar, poppy seeds.
Mix flour with softened butter and cottage cheese until smooth, roll the resulting dough into a sausage. Cut a small piece from it, roll it into a square with your hands and fold it into an envelope. Ready-made envelopes can be rolled in cinnamon, sugar or poppy seeds.
Grease a baking sheet with oil, put curd envelopes on it. The baking time in the oven at 150 ° C is 20 minutes. Be careful not to burn the envelopes, as cooking times may vary depending on the size of the envelopes and the characteristics of the oven.
Cheese casserole
For this recipe, you can also take a slightly expired cottage cheese.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of liquid cottage cheese;
- 170 g butter;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 cups of flour;
- a glass of sugar;
- zest from 1 lemon;
- ½ teaspoon baking powder.
Mix the flour with butter, baking powder and ½ cup sugar until crumbled. Beat the cottage cheese with eggs, grated lemon zest and the remaining sugar using a mixer.
Put half of the crumbly dough into a baking dish, form small sides, pour all the curd mass on top and sprinkle with the rest of the dough. It is better to bake the curd casserole at 170 ° C until golden brown. It can be served hot or cold.
