Everyone loves fresh and soft baked goods, especially if they are homemade. This cake is best prepared the day before serving, so that it has time to soak in the refrigerator.
Ingredients for the dough:
- 200 g butter;
- 2 cups of flour;
- 4 g baking powder;
- A couple of chicken eggs;
- 3 tbsp honey;
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup of sugar;
Ingredients for the cream:
- 25 ml strawberry liqueur;
- 120 g icing sugar;
- 120 g of chocolate with nuts;
- 350 g butter;
- 160 g prunes;
Ingredients for decoration:
- 50 g cocoa powder;
- 50 g coconut flakes.
Preparation:
- We start by making the dough. To do this, you need to combine butter, eggs, honey and granulated sugar. Mix everything thoroughly and beat until foam forms. If the butter is too hard, you will need to take it out of the refrigerator in advance and melt it in the microwave to speed up the process.
- Thoroughly chop the peeled walnuts and add to the cooked mass. Sift wheat flour and add baking powder. Send the resulting bulk mass into the mixture. Chopping nuts can be done in a very simple way. It is enough to place them in a food processor and turn it on. In this way, you can grind nuts of any size.
- Next, you need to knead a soft dough and divide it into 3 equal parts. Wrap each in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator.
- Then roll each piece of dough into a flat cake and put in a baking dish.
- You need to bake the cakes in an oven preheated to 170 degrees. The cake should be slightly golden in color. This will take approximately 20 minutes.
- You need to make a chocolate cream with prunes. To do this, you need to grind the chocolate with a food processor or on a fine grater. As a result, we get a fine chocolate chip.
- Place the chocolate, liqueur and butter in a bowl. Place the bowl with the ingredients in a pot of hot water. Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted.
- Beat the butter until fluffy. Add powdered sugar there. And mix thoroughly again. Combine with chocolate mass, add finely chopped prunes there.
Grease each cake with ready-made cream. Lubricate the top and sides with the same mass. Sprinkle the top with chocolate or cocoa powder, and the sides with coconut.
