It is necessary

  • For eight servings:
  • - 250 g butter;
  • - 150 g of prunes;
  • - 1, 5 glasses of wheat flour;
  • - 1 glass of sour cream 25%;
  • - 1 glass of walnuts;
  • - half a glass of sugar;
  • - half a glass of powdered sugar;
  • - 2 eggs;
  • - 2 tbsp. spoons of honey;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of brandy;
  • - 1/2 teaspoon of slaked soda.

Instructions

Step 1

Separate the yolks from the proteins. Whisk the whites with a pinch of salt for a strong foam. Add honey, sugar, soda, softened butter (125 g) to it, beat.

Step 2

Gradually add sifted flour into the mass, mix the dough with a spatula.

Step 3

Divide the dough into 4 portions. Put one part in a mold covered with special baking paper, flatten. Place the dish in the oven, cook for 15 minutes at 180 degrees. In this way, bake all 4 cakes for the future cake.

Step 4

Prepare the cream. Whisk 125 g butter, icing sugar and egg yolks. Add sour cream and cognac. Instead of brandy, you can use rum or whiskey.

Step 5

Soak the prunes to make them softer. Grind.

Step 6

Liberally grease one crust with cream, sprinkle with prunes and walnuts, cover with a second crust. Finally, collect the cake. Sprinkle the top with prunes and nuts. You can serve immediately.
