If you pass it through a meat grinder, you get an excellent snack for vitamin borscht, cabbage soup, dumplings. It is in the twisted form that children and the elderly like to eat fat most of all. Garlic and herbs are usually added to it. It is desirable that the lard is with a layer of meat and soft skin.

  • - salted pork fat - 400 g;
  • - garlic - 0.5-1 head;
  • - salt - to taste;
  • - ground black pepper - 0.5-1 tsp;
  • - dill - 30-50 g.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare bacon for rolling in advance. To do this, it is cut into small pieces in the form of cubes or bars and slightly frozen in the freezer. In this form, it will be more amenable to twisting in a meat grinder.

Step 2

Prepare your greens. You can use both fresh and dried herbs that you like. Usually it is dill, parsley. The main thing is that there are no hard coarse parts in the dried greens: stalks or twigs. Peel the garlic thoroughly. Each clove must be freed from the film and cut into two parts if the cloves are large.

Step 3

When everything is prepared, they begin to make a spread of bacon. Frozen bacon, garlic and herbs are alternately scrolled in a meat grinder. After grinding all the ingredients, mix the resulting mass and add salt to taste, if the bacon was not very salty initially, black or red ground pepper.

The resulting mass is packaged in small plastic containers and stored in the refrigerator.
