Instructions
Step 1
Knead the pie dough. To do this, pour one glass of warm milk into a bowl (you can use sour milk). Dissolve 30 grams of fresh or 1 tablespoon of dry yeast in it. Add half a teaspoon of salt and half a cup of flour.
Step 2
As soon as a frothy cap appears on the surface of the milk, beat in 2 chicken eggs, add 50 grams of softened butter and 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, mix.
Step 3
Add a little 700 grams of flour, constantly kneading the dough. You may need a little more or a little less flour, be guided in this case by the result. The dough should not be too steep, but also not stick to your hands. Form a ball out of it, place in a bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 2 hours. During this time, you need to knead the dough 3 times.
Step 4
Prepare the filling for the pies while the dough is proving. To do this, boil 400 grams of pork with one whole onion and two bay leaves. While the meat is cooking, save one finely chopped onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Step 5
Cool the finished meat a little, cut and mince it along with the boiled onion. It will add a special juiciness to the meat filling.
Step 6
Place the cooked minced meat in a skillet with sauteed onions, stir and sauté everything together for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 7
Lubricate the work surface with vegetable oil, lay out the increased dough, knead it well for 10 minutes. This will make the dough more elastic and fluffy.
Step 8
Roll out and form a long rope out of the dough. Cut it into equal pieces and roll them into balls. Sculpt the balls into tortillas. If you feel more comfortable, you can use a rolling pin. Place the prepared meat filling in the middle of each tortilla and seal the edges.
Step 9
Place the patties on the baking sheet, seam side down. And leave to proof for 15 minutes. At this time, preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
Step 10
Bake the pies for 30-40 minutes. As soon as they are browned, remove from the oven and place on a dish covered with a towel.
