The process of making Brunost cheese is simple, any novice cook can handle it. The only condition is that you need to devote enough time to boiling the whey. Whey can be purchased at the store or prepared in advance by making cottage cheese or riccotta.

Pour whey into a saucepan, put on fire. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Evaporate the mass three times. This will take one and a half to two hours.
Step 3
Pour the cream into the finished boiled whey, dip the butter, stir. Continue cooking on the smallest heat until the mixture thickens. The color of the finished product should be creamy.
Step 4
Next, beat the composition with a blender, grind the resulting crystals.
Step 5
Put the cheese into the prepared silicone mold to harden. After cooling the contents of the form to room temperature, put it in the refrigerator. Cut the prepared cheese into slices, serve with a loaf or bread.
