On New Year's Eve, you need to choose the dishes and set the table so that guests will remember the feast for a very long time. Salads are especially thought out, every year I want to put something new, but tasty at the same time on New Year's Eve. Try making a squid salad. Seafood is delicious, easy to digest and goes well with many foods.

It is necessary

  • - 2-3 frozen squid;
  • - 50 g of walnuts,
  • - 200 g of fresh mushrooms;
  • - 3 chicken eggs;
  • - 50 g of hard cheese;
  • - 3 tbsp. l. low-fat mayonnaise;
  • - vegetable oil for frying mushrooms;
  • - fresh cucumber and lemon for decoration;
  • - greens for decoration;
  • - salt to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Set the squid to defrost. Boil chicken eggs hard-boiled, place them under running cold tap water to cool. This will help to quickly clear the shell.

Step 2

Wash defrosted squids with cold water. Never wash in hot, this will turn the meat pinkish. Be sure to remove the film from the squid, otherwise you will spoil their taste after cooking. Heat water in a saucepan, add salt to it.

Step 3

Dip the squid in boiling water and cook for no more than 2-3 minutes. Overcooked squid will be tough. Remove the seafood from the pan and cool. Then cut into strips.

Step 4

Wash the mushrooms, dry with napkins and cut into thin slices. Place in a skillet with heated vegetable oil and fry until tender. Transfer to a plate to cool.

Step 5

Peel and grate cooled eggs, also grate cheese. Grind the walnuts into a separate cup.

Step 6

Combine the sautéed mushrooms, chopped squid, eggs, grated cheese and some chopped nuts. Add mayonnaise, salt to taste and form into balls. Place them on lettuce leaves and sprinkle with the remaining nuts. Garnish with lemon slices and slices of fresh cucumber.
