Step 1

The undoubted advantage of this dessert is the lack of baking manipulation. The recipe is based on Savoyardi biscuits (airy biscuit sticks) and mascarpone cheese (made in Italy from heavy cream). Both biscuits and cheese can be purchased at major supermarkets.

Step 2

Start creating a sweet masterpiece by making a cream. Take 4 chicken eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks thoroughly with 100 g of sugar until the grains disappear. Add 500 g mascarpone cheese, stir by hand with a spoon or wooden spatula.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, beat the whites until they are firm. Add the whites to the yolk-cheese base and mix gently. The cream is ready.

Step 4

Brew a strong coffee, preferably an espresso. Pour it into a wide, deep container and cool. You will need about 300 ml of this drink.

Step 5

Add 2-3 tablespoons of Marsala Italian wine to coffee and cream.

Take a medium-deep round or rectangular shape. Dip the Savoyardi cookies in coffee and place them tightly on the bottom of the mold. Dip the biscuit sticks in the coffee for just a couple of seconds, otherwise they will get wet. In total, you will need about 300 g of cookies.

Step 7

After filling the form with a layer of cookies, pour half of the prepared cream on it, smooth it evenly. Then add the coffee-soaked cookies again and top with the remaining cream.

Step 8

Cover the finished dessert with cling film. Refrigerate for at least 5-6 hours (preferably overnight).

Step 9

Sprinkle the tiramisu with cocoa using a sieve before serving.
