sugar - ½ teaspoon

For mastic figures:

marshmallows - 150 grams

butter - 100 grams

icing sugar - 300 grams

white milk chocolate - 50 grams

water - 1.5 tablespoons

  • First, start by making the filling. Soak the gelatin in warm water for 10 minutes, until the crystals swell. Place it on the stove and, stirring constantly, wait until the grains are completely swollen.
  • In a deep container, mix granulated sugar, sour cream. While stirring, add small portions of gelatin to the mixture.
  • Place plastic wrap on the bottom of the baking dish. Pour the filling mixture, level the surface with a spatula or spoon. Place the mold in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours.
  • Prepare the dough at this time. The recipe is pretty simple. Mix chicken eggs and granulated sugar in a container, beat them with a fork. Then add sour cream and stir the mixture well again. Mix the sifted flour with soda, cocoa, add to the dough and mix - make sure that no lumps remain in the dough. Grease the mold with oil, pour the dough and tamp it with a spatula so that the surface is even. Bake the crust in an oven preheated to 170 degrees Celsius for half an hour.
  • Now it's time to get down to sweet sour cream. Combine sour cream and sugar in a bowl, grind them until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved.
  • It was the turn of a difficult stage - the preparation of mastic. Grind pieces of marshmallows, put them in a metal container and cover with water. Melt them over low heat. Add powdered sugar to the resulting mass. Now you need to knead the mastic until it stops sticking to your fingers. As soon as the mastic mass becomes dense enough, wrap it in a piece of cling film and leave to rest.
  • Start making goals and markings for the football field. Break a bar of white milk chocolate into slices, place in a tight plastic bag and place in preheated water. Keep the bag in water until the chocolate is completely melted. Draw a football goal of the required size on a piece of paper, cover the drawing with cling film on top. Cut off the corner of the plastic bag to make a piping bag. Carefully squeeze the chocolate onto the drawing, trace the outline of the football field. Bend the top slightly to keep the structure bulky. Place the gate in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes. Use the same method to line the soccer field out of the melted chocolate.
  • Further, when the cake is ready, you need to remove it from the mold and use a knife to make it rectangular, like a real football field, cutting off the uneven edges. The finished cake needs to be cut in half and the slices are greased with sour cream. Leave the base to soak.
  • Now we collect the cake: put the frozen gelatinous filling on the lower half, cover the top with the second half of the cake.
  • With softened butter, use a cooking brush to brush the top and sides of the football floor. The oil layer must be thick enough! Place the product in the refrigerator to freeze the oil.
  • Next, you need to sculpt the figures of football players. Divide the mastic mass into several parts. In one - the largest - add a green dye, roll out the mass with a rolling pin so that you get a layer about 3 millimeters thick. Cover the football field with them.
  • From one more piece of mastic, which remains white, mold the ball, heads, arms and legs of the players. From the rest of the mass, make parts for the figures. Connect the parts of the men with toothpicks. Think ahead of how each guy and the whole team will look like. Looks like there is a tense competition for the cup on the pitch?
  • Now it's time to start decorating the cake. Lay out white chocolate markings on the green field, set the goal, figures of athletes and a soccer ball. When the product looks complete, it can be served! It turned out to be a real masterpiece, isn't it?
