Spring rolls are another trendy oriental dish that is so loved all over the world. Corresponding to its spring name, it really is very refreshing and awakens a whole range of taste sensations. Looking for something special? Prepare spring rolls as an appetizer or hot.
Spring rolls with pork
Ingredients:
- 250 g filo dough;
- 500 g of pork;
- 3 carrots;
- 150 g of Chinese salad;
- 1 egg white;
- a pinch of ground red pepper;
- salt;
- soy or sweet and sour sauce for spring rolls;
- vegetable oil.
Wash the meat, dry it, cut into bars and pass through a meat grinder. Fry it in vegetable oil until tender, pepper and salt to taste. Chop the Chinese salad and carrots into thin strips. Cut the filo dough into 10x10 cm squares. Spread the minced meat and vegetables over them, brush the edges with protein using a cooking brush.
Cover the filling with two parallel sides of the dough, as if you are going to make envelopes, and then roll into rolls. Fry the spring rolls in well-heated oil until golden brown and place on a paper towel to drain off excess fat. Serve them with soy or a special sweet and sour sauce for this dish.
Spring rolls with chicken and funchose
Ingredients:
- 10 sheets of rice paper;
- 250 g chicken fillet;
- 50 g funchose;
- 2 cucumbers;
- 1 small carrot;
- 1/2 bell pepper;
- 15 g of parsley;
- 25 ml of balsamic vinegar;
- salt;
- soy or sweet chili sauce;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Cook the rice noodles as directed on the package, drain in a colander and rinse with cold water. Cut the chicken fillet into strips and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes. Pour balsamic sauce over it, add salt and simmer for another 2-3 minutes, stirring with a spatula. Transfer the meat to a bowl and cool. Peel and grate vegetables on a coarse grater.
Dip a sheet of rice paper in warm water for 5-10 seconds, spread it on the table. Put vegetables, funchose, chicken and parsley leaves on it and roll as described in the previous recipe. Repeat the above steps for the remaining products. Cook spring rolls in vegetable oil until crisp and serve immediately with the sauce.
Spring rolls with vegetables and cheese
Ingredients:
- 6 sheets of rice paper;
- 100 g cream cheese;
- 1 cucumber;
- 1 small avocado;
- soy sauce;
- pickled ginger.
Peel the cucumber and avocado and cut the flesh into large longitudinal slices so that they can be divided into 6 pieces. Soak the rice leaves in warm water, place a bunch of different vegetables on top of them, brush them thickly with cream cheese, wrap and serve until the paper is dry. Don't forget the soy sauce and pickled ginger.
