It is necessary

  • -500 ml milk or water,
  • -4 tablespoons of sugar (you can have more),
  • -1 medium egg,
  • -1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
  • -6 Art. spoons of semolina,
  • -a pinch of salt,
  • -50 grams of butter,
  • -3 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • -3 tbsp. tablespoons of bread crumbs or flour.
  • For berry jelly:
  • -250 grams of any frozen berries,
  • -0.5 liters of water (more is possible),
  • -sugar to taste,
  • -3-4 tablespoons of starch.

Instructions

Step 1

Pour milk or water (optional) into a saucepan, set on fire.

Step 2

Pour semolina and sugar into a bowl, mix.

Step 3

As soon as the milk boils, pour semolina into the pan and stir well, add a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low and cook semolina with constant stirring for about seven minutes. We will get a very thick porridge, which we remove from the heat and leave under the lid for ten minutes to swell.

After 10-15 minutes, transfer the prepared porridge into a cup and cool.

Step 4

Break the egg into a cup, add vanilla sugar (you can use regular sugar) and beat a little. Mix the egg with semolina until smooth.

Step 5

Semolina porridge will not cool down in 10 minutes, so we do not waste time and prepare jelly. Fill the berries with water (you don't have to defrost them) and put them on fire. After boiling, boil the berries for 15 minutes. We leave the resulting compote for 10 minutes, then filter, the berries can be thrown away. Pour the strained compote into a saucepan, sugar to taste and set to heat.

Step 6

Pour starch and a tablespoon of sugar into a cup, pour a little water and mix well. Pour the starch mixture into the compote, mix. Leave it to cook until thickened over low heat.

Step 7

The semolina has cooled down, we form the meatballs with wet hands. Roll each batter in breadcrumbs.

Step 8

Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry the meatballs on both sides for 3 minutes. We turn it over very carefully.

Serve ready-made crispy meatballs with berry jelly.
