In the spring, our body needs vitamins. Grapefruit is a storehouse of vitamins and minerals. It is especially rich in vitamins C, B1, B2, PP, as well as calcium, phosphorus and iron. But fresh grapefruit in large quantities is dangerous for people suffering from gastritis and pancreatic diseases. But in the composition of the salad it is quite safe. Moreover, such a salad is not only tasty and very healthy, it is also ideal for dietary nutrition.
It is necessary
- For the salad:
- - 1 grapefruit;
- - 1 avocado;
- - 200 g of arugula leaves or any other salad that is on hand;
- - 200 g of unpeeled shrimp;
- - walnuts.
- For refueling:
- - 1 tbsp. l. olive oil;
- - 1 tsp honey;
- - 1 tsp dijon mustard;
- - ground pepper;
- - 1 tsp soy sauce (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
Sort the arugula leaves, rinse and dry on a paper towel. Tear into medium pieces with your hands. Those who prefer a different type of salad can substitute it for arugula. This will not affect the taste in any way.
Step 2
Rinse the shrimps with cold water and boil until tender in water with a little salt. Then cool and clean them.
Step 3
Peel the grapefruit from the peel and white films. Divide each wedge into small pieces. Rinse the avocado, peel and remove the pit. Cut the fruit into thin slices.
Step 4
Peel the walnut kernels. Chop the nuts finely. Combine shrimp, grapefruit slices and avocado slices. Stir.
Step 5
Line a flat plate with lettuce leaves. Top with the shrimp and fruit mixture. Sprinkle with walnuts. Drizzle with dressing.
Step 6
To make the dressing, combine olive oil with honey and mustard. Season with pepper. Add a spoonful of soy sauce if desired.
