It is necessary

  • - pink salmon fillet - 850-900 g;
  • - fresh bacon - 200 g;
  • - onions - 1 pc.;
  • - ground black pepper;
  • - salt.
  • For the sauce:
  • - tomato sauce or ketchup - 2 tablespoons;
  • - mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons;
  • - Provencal herbs - to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

After washing the fish fillets thoroughly, dry them. Then cut the pink salmon into fairly large pieces, then transfer to a cup and send to the refrigerator for a while. There it will freeze slightly and it will be easy to grind it with a meat grinder.

Step 2

Do the same with lard as with fish, that is, chop and place in the freezer.

Step 3

With the onion, do the following: Peel it, then cut it into 4 pieces. Take out the slightly frozen pink salmon and turn it into minced meat, scrolling along with lard and chopped onions. Season the fish mass with salt and pepper to your liking. Mix everything properly.

Step 4

Forming cutlets from the minced fish obtained, put them in a baking sheet pre-greased with sunflower oil. To prevent the minced meat from sticking to your palms, moisten them from time to time with warm water.

Step 5

Send the fish cakes to the oven and bake them at 190 degrees for 15-20 minutes. After the time has elapsed, remove the dish from the oven and pour over it with a sauce consisting of Provencal herbs, mayonnaise and tomato ketchup. After this procedure, cook it for another quarter of an hour.

Step 6

After letting the dish cool down, serve it to the table. The fish cakes are ready in the oven!
