Funchoza are thin, clear noodles made from bean starch or cheaper cornstarch. This popular ingredient in Asian cuisine is used in many dishes today, including salads. The peculiarity of funchose is that it absorbs the taste of other ingredients and sauces.
Funchose and seafood salad
This dish can be served as a hearty yet light meal at home. The vegetables, healthy spices and seafood it contains will enrich the body with vitamins, and the original spicy sauce will add piquancy to the salad. To prepare it you will need:
- 300 g funchose noodles;
- 150 g squid;
- 2 heads of red onions;
- 2 bell peppers;
- 2 cucumbers;
- 100 g of crab meat;
- 200 g shrimp;
- 4 teaspoons of sesame seeds;
- salt to taste;
- a pinch of cilantro.
For the sauce:
- 2 cm of ginger root;
- 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil;
- 3 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce;
- 1/3 chili pepper;
- 1 clove of garlic;
- 1 teaspoon of rice vinegar;
- a pinch of sugar;
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sesame oil and lemon juice.
Make a hot sauce. To do this, chop the ginger root, garlic and chili. Place in a cup, add sugar and all liquid ingredients to them. Mix everything thoroughly. Boil shrimps with squid in salted water for 3 minutes, cool and cut into strips along with crab meat. Chop vegetables in the same way. Pour boiling water over the rice noodles for 5 minutes, then drain and cool. Stir all the ingredients in a separate bowl, pour over the prepared sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
To keep the salad looking fresh, dress it with sauce just before serving.
Funchoza with mushrooms and bell pepper
Ingredients:
- 250 g funchose;
- 1 bell pepper;
- 250 g of champignons;
- 3 cloves of garlic;
- 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sesame seeds;
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- 2 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce;
- salt to taste.
In this recipe, mushrooms can be replaced with chicken, only it will take 5 minutes longer to fry it.
Steam the funchoza with boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain, but do not rinse with cold water. Fry the mushrooms and bell peppers cut into strips in vegetable oil for 5 minutes. Then add chopped garlic to them, and after 2 minutes, pour in the soy sauce. Turn off the heat, add funchose to the pan and stir well. Serve immediately.
Funchoza with mussels and white wine
To prepare this dish you will need:
- 250 g funchose;
- 100 ml of dry white wine;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 400 g of mussels in shells;
- 5 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- 50 g parmesan;
- parsley;
- salt to taste.
Steam the noodles as described above. Pour olive oil into a saucepan, heat it a little and put herbs, peeled garlic there. Season with salt and white wine. Add the mussels to the saucepan and cook until they open, then sprinkle the mussels with parsley and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir everything with funchose and serve.
