For a big celebration or an ordinary tasty lunch, you can cook a large, juicy piece of beef in the oven. The meat will turn out to be tender, aromatic and much healthier than fried in a pan.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - 800 g of boneless beef;
- - 7 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - 2 teaspoons of honey, mustard, salt;
- - 1 teaspoon each of dried basil, black pepper, paprika.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse a piece of meat, pat dry on a paper towel. Combine olive oil with honey, mustard, salt, black pepper, paprika, dried basil in a bowl. Stir all the spices well.
Step 2
Marinate the meat in the resulting sauce, leave for 1 hour at room temperature - this time will be enough for the piece of beef to be saturated with the aroma of spices.
Step 3
After marinating, wrap a piece of meat in foil, send to the oven for 1 hour. Cook at 180 degrees.
Step 4
Take out the meat, carefully open the foil, put it in the oven for another 10-15 minutes to form a golden brown crust. If you have a grill mode in your oven, then turn it on for 10-15 minutes.
Step 5
Remove meat from oven, cover with foil, leave to rest for 10 minutes. After that, you can cut the baked beef into portions and serve with any side dish.
