It is necessary

  • - large sea or river fish (salmon, pink salmon, cod, catfish, silver carp, etc.) - 1 kg;
  • - carrots - 1 pc;
  • - onion - pcs;
  • - hard cheese 150 - 200 g;
  • - mayonnaise;
  • - salt pepper;
  • - sunflower oil.

Instructions

Step 1

If the fish is frozen, let it melt at room temperature. We remove its tail, head, fins. If the fish is not gutted, make an incision in the abdomen and remove the entrails. We wash the resulting carcass well and cut into steaks 2-3 cm thick.

Step 2

We put the fish pieces into a bowl, add salt, spices and mayonnaise. Stir gently so that the mayonnaise evenly covers the pieces on all sides. Cover the bowl with a lid or a piece of cling film, put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to marinate.

Step 3

Peel and rub the carrots on a coarse grater, cut the onion into thin half rings. Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan, add the vegetables and fry over low heat until tender. Salt and pepper if necessary.

Rub the cheese on a coarse grater.

Step 4

Lubricate the multicooker bowl with sunflower oil, transfer pieces of pickled fish into it. The steaks should be fairly snug. Spread the carrots and onions evenly on the fish, sprinkle with grated cheese. We close the lid of the multicooker and select the "baking" mode for 40-50 minutes, depending on the power of the unit.

Step 5

When the dish is ready, put the fish on a flat plate with a wooden spatula. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice or fresh vegetable salad.
