Squid meat is very beneficial for humans. It contains a high percentage of protein, vitamins B6, PP, C, polyunsaturated fats. Squid are rich in trace elements phosphorus, iron, copper and iodine. Squid meat does not contain cholesterol.

- - fresh frozen squid 1 kg
- - onions 5-6 onions
- - vegetable oil 20 g
- - butter 20 g

Step 1
Peel the onions. Then cut it into thin half rings.

In a preheated frying pan, mix in half butter and refined vegetable oil. Fry chopped onions until golden brown. Stir the onions all the time so that they do not burn. When it's ready, set it aside, you will need it later.

Defrost the squids, peel the pink film. To do this, it is enough to scald the carcass with boiling water. The film (skin) will curl up literally instantly and can be washed off with water. Then cut the squid carcasses into short strips about 0.5 cm wide. Drain the excess water.
Step 4
Fry the squid in a mixture of vegetable and butter. They are prepared very quickly, literally 2-3 minutes. If the squid is thermally processed for a long time, they will become tough. Therefore, fry over high heat, stirring all the time.
Step 5
Now you need to combine the fried onions and the fried calamari together. Season with salt, pepper and heat everything together in a pan for 1 minute so that these products exchange flavors.
The dish is ready. Serve the squid immediately after cooking. The dish goes well with creamy sauce or mayonnaise. Sprinkle with chopped dill before serving.
