All recipes use whey, which you can buy at the store or make your own. How to cook it at home? Very simple.
You need to take:
- 1 liter of milk;
- 1 tablespoon sour cream / sourdough.
Step by step:
- Pour milk into a saucepan, add sour cream. Leave next to a gas stove for 12 hours or a day to ferment.
- After the time has elapsed, the resulting yogurt should be put on moderate heat. Keep on the stove until the thick mass bounces off.
- Then you should separate the liquid from the curd using a sieve or gauze.
- Both ingredients can be used in pancakes or eaten separately.
From the specified amount of milk, 300-350 ml of whey and a pack of cottage cheese will be obtained.
The classic recipe for lush pancakes
Prepare the following ingredients:
- whey, flour - 1 glass each;
- granulated sugar - 60 g;
- soda - 5 g;
- salt, vanillin - pinch at a time.
Step by step guide:
- Pour sugar, salt, vanillin into the heated acidic liquid, stir.
- Gradually add flour, mix until a thick, homogeneous mass without lumps.
- Pour in soda, mix. The mass should be thick, hard to fall from the shoulder blade (do not drain).
- Pour enough fat into a frying pan, heat it up, spread the mass in round pieces using two spoons with an interval of two centimeters between them.
- When one side is slightly baked, reduce the gas, cover for a couple of minutes.
