- cognac (300 ml)
- walnuts (150 g).

Step 1
Soak the pitted cherries in the cognac.
Step 2
Beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer until fluffy white.
Step 3
Pour baking soda into the sour cream and add to the egg mixture. Whisk a little.
Step 4
While whisking, add the flour mixed with cocoa.
Step 5
Once you have a smooth, creamy mass, turn off the mixer and pour it into a baking dish.

Bake in an oven preheated to 175 degrees for about 45 minutes. Do not open the oven door while cooking, as the cake may settle.

Remove the base from the oven, cool and very carefully cut off the top of the crust thinly to form a lid. Step back from the edge 1, 5 centimeters and remove the crumb from the cake with your hands. Place it on a separate plate.

For the cream, beat the condensed milk and add soft butter in small portions.

When smooth, add walnuts and lightly dried cherries. Mix gently.

Add the crushed crumb from the crust to the cream and mix again.

Fill the cake with the resulting mass so that there are no voids.

Prepare sour cream by whisking the sour cream and sugar.
