- - 150 ml of milk;
- - 110 g butter;
- - 80 g of sugar;
- - 15 g of fresh yeast;
- - 1 egg;
- - 1 st. a spoonful of ground cinnamon, water;
- - ground cardamom, salt, powdered sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Dissolve fresh yeast in warm milk, stir, let the yeast swell. Pour 60 g of melted butter into them, add half a chicken egg, ground cardamom and salt to taste. Stir, add the sifted flour in small portions, knead into a smooth, homogeneous dough for Swedish buns.
Step 2
Cover the finished dough, leave in a warm place for half an hour. During this time, the yeast dough will double. Roll out the suitable dough into a layer about 3 mm thick, brush with the remaining butter. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar mixed with ground cinnamon.
Step 3
Cut the dough into slices about 2 cm wide. Place the slices on baking paper, leave to rise for half an hour. Then brush the buns with the remaining beaten egg mixed with water.
Step 4
Swedish cinnamon rolls cook very quickly - bake them for 10-15 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Almost immediately, you will feel the unique aroma of spices from the oven. Cool the finished baked goods, decorate at your discretion (you can sprinkle with powdered sugar).
