Lacto-vegetarianism excludes only meat and meat dishes from the diet, but it encourages the use of such products as vegetables, fruits, eggs and dairy products. We suggest you prepare a potato roll with vegetables. It does not contain meat, but it is delicious and satisfying.
It is necessary
- - eggs - 4 pcs.;
- - potatoes - 1 kg;
- - milk - 250 ml;
- - ground pepper;
- - butter - 70 g;
- - medium carrots - 2 pcs.;
- - sweet pepper - 1 pc.;
- - onion - 1 pc.;
- - ground pepper;
- - salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Chop the onions, carrots and peppers into small strips. Simmer them in a skillet with a little oil and a pinch of salt. Add 2 raw eggs to vegetables, mix well.
Step 2
Boil the potatoes. Heat the milk and melt the butter in it.
Step 3
Add the butter milk and 2 raw eggs to the potatoes and beat the mashed potatoes with a blender. Beat with a blender, the mashed potatoes will turn out to be more viscous and the roll will not fall apart when baked.
Step 4
Take a linen or cotton napkin. Soak it in water. Squeeze out excess water.
Step 5
Put the mashed potatoes on a damp cloth. Spread it out so that the layer is about 2 cm thick.
Step 6
Place the filling in the middle of the puree. Gently join the edges of the potato layer to form a roll.
Step 7
Transfer the roll to a greased baking sheet. The seam of the roll should be at the bottom. Lubricate the roll with sour cream. Bake it in a hot oven for 30 minutes.
Step 8
Cut the hot roll into portions, pour sour cream over each piece.
