Instructions
Step 1
Make pumpkin pancakes from boiled pulp, chopped in a blender in mashed potatoes. To do this, wash the fruit with a clean disposable sponge, cut and remove the seeds. Peel the halves. Cut the flesh into large pieces. Their size should be no less than a matchbox.
Step 2
Boil the pumpkin in salted clean water until soft. Check readiness with a knife or sharp fork. The average cooking time is about twenty minutes. Grind the finished pieces in a blender until the consistency of a homogeneous puree. You can add some cinnamon to the broth.
Step 3
Put the pumpkin puree and semolina in a bowl for the dough, and then, mixing the ingredients, add the eggs, salt, yogurt and sugar. Add each component separately to avoid clumping. The consistency of the dough should resemble thick sour cream. If the dough is too thin, add semolina, if too thick, add curdled milk.
Step 4
Frying pumpkin pancakes with semolina is necessary in a hot pan. Use a Teflon-coated dish to avoid consuming more oil. On each side, the pancakes are fried for three or four minutes. The readiness of the dish is checked with a wooden stick or a match.
Step 5
Take a bar of chocolate and dissolve in a water bath, then add cream, sugar and, stirring constantly, add cocoa. Keep the sauce on fire until it thickens. It must be constantly stirred so that the chocolate does not burn. Add some cinnamon and ground nuts before the end of cooking.
Step 6
Place the pancakes in a stack on a flat, small dish. Before serving, they can be sprinkled with chocolate sauce and garnished with whole nuts or berries. Hot tea, cocoa or coffee are served as a drink to the pumpkin delicacy. Pancakes with sauce are served for dessert.
