Ingredients:

- butter - 150 grams;
- vanilla sugar - 3 grams;
- soda - 0.5 teaspoon.
Combine the milk and sugar in an enamel saucepan and place them on low heat. When the liquid boils, cool it down. Then add the egg, 100 grams of softened butter, vanilla sugar and baking soda to the milk. Beat the resulting mass well and gradually pour the flour into it, while stirring constantly. You should have a smooth dough. Roll out a layer about 6 mm thick from it.
Cut round shortbreads out of the dough and place them on a baking sheet previously greased with the remaining 50 grams of butter. Bake the dish for 15-20 minutes in the oven preheated to 200 ° C.
Milk cakes with nuts
Ingredients:
- milk - 0.5 cups;
- eggs - 5 pieces;
- flour - 500 grams;
- walnuts - 300 grams;
- vanilla sugar - 3 grams;
- butter - 150 grams;
- icing sugar - 1 tablespoon;
- soda - 1 teaspoon;
- cinnamon, poppy, cardamom - to taste.
Melt 100 grams of butter and add the yolks of 4 eggs, powdered with powdered sugar. Cover this mixture with warm milk. Add flour, vanilla sugar and baking soda to these ingredients. From the resulting mass, knead into a homogeneous dough, adding a little cinnamon, poppy and cardamom to it.
Place the cookie cutter in the refrigerator for 2 hours. After that, divide the dough into 10 equal parts and roll a ball out of each, then flatten it on both sides. Dip the resulting "cakes" first in the yolk, then in chopped walnuts. Put the future biscuits on a baking sheet, greased with 50 grams of butter. Bake the dish in an oven preheated to 160 ° C for 15 minutes.
Milk cakes "in accordance with GOST"
Ingredients:
- milk - 76 grams;
- flour - 423 grams;
- sugar - 210 grams;
- margarine - 96 grams;
- baking powder - 20 grams;
- melange - 21 grams;
- butter - 50 grams;
- vanillin - 1 gram.
Mix the milk with sugar and heat while stirring constantly. Then cool the liquid to room temperature. Add softened margarine, vanillin, baking powder and melange to sweet milk. Pour flour to these ingredients and knead them into a homogeneous dough. Roll it into a layer 5-7 mm thick. Cut round shortbreads out of the dough. Place them on a greased baking sheet and place in an oven preheated to 170 ° C. Bake the dish for about 15 minutes.
