You can use a regular juicer to make banana-strawberry juice. This method has one drawback - a fairly high percentage of waste. Meanwhile, strawberries and bananas have a very delicate pulp structure and do not contain coarse fibers. Therefore, using a blender, you can significantly increase the juice yield. In addition, its taste will be richer.
It is necessary
-
- For 2 servings of 250 g each:
- banana 1 pc;
- 300 g strawberries;
- water to taste;
- mint for decoration.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse contaminated berries with water and peel off the stalks. If the strawberries are without sand and you are sure of their purity, it is better not to wash the berries - they will lose some of their taste and aroma. Pour some water over the strawberries and beat with a blender until smooth.
Step 2
Now peel the banana, cut into small pieces and add to the strawberries. Grind the mixture again until homogeneous. If you grind a banana and a strawberry at the same time, there is a good chance that the banana will darken. The finished product will have an unattractive brownish color. In the proposed method, the banana pieces immediately fall into an acidic environment, and this prevents it from darkening.
Step 3
You will have a fairly thick mixture that looks more like puree than juice. Dilute the mixture with cold water. If desired, squeeze the juice of a quarter of a lemon into the same place and stir. Pour the drink into glasses, add ice cubes and garnish with mint or strawberries. Insert a cocktail tube into glasses and serve.
