Chicken in a spicy orange marinade is sure to become the main dish of the festive menu. Such a chicken turns out to be tender, fragrant and tasty, and also has a beautiful ruddy crust.
Ingredients for making orange chicken:
- 700-800 grams of chicken (you can use only drumsticks or wings, as well as any parts of the chicken);
- 2 oranges;
- 30-35 ml of liquid natural honey;
- a little curry;
- 40-50 ml of sunflowers. oils (another is possible);
- salt, red pepper.
Cooking chicken baked with oranges:
1. First you need to prepare an orange marinade for meat.
2. For the marinade, in a deep bowl, combine the juice of one orange, honey, a little red pepper, salt, as well as a teaspoon of curry and butter.
3. Place prepared chicken pieces in the resulting marinade, mix well so that all the meat is covered with a fragrant mixture.
4. Chicken is best left to marinate for at least 1.5-2 hours in the refrigerator.
