A classic dish of Ukrainian cuisine. Ideal as a side dish. It can also be used as an independent vegetarian dish.
It is necessary
- - potatoes 8-10 pcs.;
- - onion 1 pc.;
- - chicken eggs 2-3 pcs.;
- - wheat flour 0.5 tbsp.;
- - refined sunflower oil;
- - salt, pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel potatoes and onions. We wash eggs under running water.
Step 2
We rub the potatoes on a coarse grater, because when using a coarse grater, the potatoes give less juice. Plus, due to the resulting unevenness of the edges, they turn out to be especially crispy.
Step 3
Grate the onion on a coarse grater or chop it finely.
Step 4
We mix all the ingredients: break the eggs into grated potatoes; add onion, flour and salt to taste.
Step 5
Preheat the pan. Pour in vegetable oil for frying.
Step 6
We spread the dough with a tablespoon. One potato pancake - one tablespoon without edges. Distribute the dough evenly. The ideal layer thickness is no more than 1 cm.
Step 7
Fry the pancakes until golden brown on both sides over medium heat.
Step 8
Ready-made pancakes are best served with sour cream. You can decorate with greens.
