Baked aromatic fish (with caviar filling) under unusual glaze and spiced potatoes are a great dish for the whole family. Its delicious taste, appearance and aroma will make a family holiday simply unforgettable.

It is necessary

  • Ingredients for potatoes:
  • • 6 medium potatoes;
  • • 1 tsp. dried basil;
  • • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil;
  • •salt;
  • • 1 pinch of white and black pepper.
  • Ingredients for the glaze:
  • • 3 tbsp. l. soy sauce;
  • • 1 tbsp. l. brown sugar;
  • • 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste.
  • Ingredients for fish:
  • • carp weighing 2, 5-3 kg;
  • • salt and black pepper;
  • • greens of dill or onions;
  • •lemon.

Instructions

Step 1

The fish, as always, should be cleaned, gutted and thoroughly washed. On both sides of the prepared carcass, make deep transverse cuts with a knife, through which the soy-tomato glaze will penetrate directly into the fish.

Step 2

If caviar is caught in the carcass, then it must be washed, cleaned of black films, put in a deep plate and kneaded with a fork. Add 1 egg, 1 tbsp. l. semolina and a little salt. Beat everything thoroughly with a fork and leave until the cereal swells.

Step 3

Cut the potatoes into large slices and dry a little. After seasoning with oil, basil, salt, pepper, you can add your own spices to taste. Stir well and place around the edges of a large dish, leaving room for the fish in the middle.

Step 4

Stuff the carcass of the carp with caviar and put it in a mold with the potatoes. This should be done with extreme caution, as caviar may leak out. Insert lemon rings into the cuts.

Step 5

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the glaze.

Coat the fish with glaze using a silicone brush and send to the oven for 45 minutes, preheated to 180 degrees. For the entire baking time, it is recommended to turn over and coat the fish with glaze 2-3 times.

Step 6

Serve ready-made carp with soy-tomato glaze and with potatoes to the table directly in the form, after sprinkling with any chopped herbs.
