If there is no time to prepare complex desserts, it is good to always have ready-made puff or yeast dough on hand, which will always help out if you need to urgently prepare something for tea, for example, when guests are on the doorstep.
It is necessary
- - chilled puff or yeast dough;
- - apple jam (or any other);
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of flour;
- - 1, 5 glasses of sunflower oil;
- - paper towels;
- - icing sugar (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
If frozen dough is used, thaw it. It defrosts quickly. Roll out the chilled dough on a table, lightly sprinkled with flour. Heat the sunflower oil in a deep bowl over low heat.
Step 2
Using a cup or glass, cut out the circles and put 1 teaspoon of jam on each half of the product. Cover the jam side with the other half.
Step 3
Use a fork to rub the edges of the future cakes. To prevent the dough from opening during frying, you can first grease the edges with water and press down with a fork from all sides.
Step 4
Increase the heat from low to medium and gently dip the items into the hot oil with a slotted spoon. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
