If you've had to think of famous Spanish drinks, no doubt you will be thinking of Sangria. In Spain, Sangria is drunk a lot because it is refreshing and low in alcohol. If you want to surprise your guests with an exotic dessert, homemade Sangria cheesecake is a great option!
It is necessary
- For the cheesecake:
- - 150 grams of any cookie
- - 150 grams of butter
- - 200 ml cream
- - 1 pack of yogurt
- - 1 sachet of gelatin
- - 250 grams of cream cheese (Philadelphia, for example).
- For Sangria:
- - 1 cup of sugar
- - Red wine
- - fruits (for example, apple, pear and orange)
- - juice or juice drink (in this example, pineapple and orange juice)
Instructions
Step 1
Making Sangria is easy. Obviously, you won't need a lot of it to make your homemade cheesecake (you will use about 2 glasses). Pour a glass of red wine and a glass of sugar into a bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves. Then add 2 cups of different juices (pineapple and orange, for example).
Step 2
Finally, cut the fruit into pieces and place them in the wine. Let it sit for 15 minutes - and you're done, you can continue making your cheesecake at home.
Step 3
Now is the time to make the cake that you are going to use as a base. To do this, grind the cookies until they are practically crushed into dust.
Step 4
Place the crumbs in a saucepan, add the butter and heat the mixture while stirring until the butter is completely melted. You will get a smooth dough that will make your cheesecake without baking.
Step 5
Cover the saucepan with the mixture with plastic wrap and let it cool for a while. It will be good to put the pan in the refrigerator for a while to freeze the cake as best as possible.
Step 6
Now is the time to collect your homemade cheesecake. Put cream cheese, cream, two tablespoons of sugar and yogurt in a large bowl and combine everything into a smooth paste. Stir until completely combined into a single mass. Pour the entire mixture into a saucepan over the crust and place the pan in the refrigerator. Let it cool until it gets denser.
Step 7
Prepare the jelly with 3/4 cup sangria, 0.5 liters of water and gelatin, pour over the frozen cheese mixture. Leave in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. When you get the jelly out, it should have a dense texture.
Step 8
Prepare 1/2 cup jelly from one Sangria without adding water. Cut some of the fruit pieces that were used for Sangria into smaller pieces. Once the jelly mixture has cooled, make sure the homemade cheesecake is frozen and pour the new jelly over it. Then garnish with fruit pieces and put back in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Step 9
Then the Sangria-flavored cheesecake is ready to eat. It is delicious and refreshing. Remember that it contains alcohol, so children should not eat it.
