  • - mustard to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

First, you need to make the traditional mashed potatoes using milk, butter, salt and nutmeg. In the recipe for this dish, mashed potatoes will be replaced by Japanese rice.

Step 2

Cut the leeks on one side so that you get a wide strip that replaces the nori algae leaf. Grease the resulting strip with a small amount of mustard. If you have any difficulty rolling the roll into a strip of leek, you can use the traditional nori algae leaf or find a substitute for this ingredient at your own discretion.

Step 3

Put a strip of onion on a bamboo mat and evenly distribute the mashed potatoes over its area. Put a slice of herring fillet on top. If desired, you can add vegetables (cucumber, beets) to the filling.
