A simple and quick shortbread cookie recipe. For its preparation, I advise you to use molds, but you can simply cut out the figures with a knife.

180 grams (1 pack) margarine or butter, 0.5 cups of sugar, 1.5 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar, a sheet of foil and a sheet of baking paper

Instructions

Step 1

Mash margarine or butter in a bowl with a spoon. Add sugar and mix until smooth with a mixer.

Step 2

Add a little flour to the mixture and knead the dough well with your hand. The dough should be elastic and not sticky to your hands. Refrigerate the dough for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Cover the board with baking paper or parchment and roll out the dough into a 0.5-1 centimeter thick layer. Cut out the figurines using the molds and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Step 4

Sprinkle the figurines with a thin layer of powder and refrigerate for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Preheat oven to 180 degrees, reduce heat slightly and bake cookies for 15-20 minutes. The cookie should turn brownish.

Step 6

Sprinkle the cookies with powder, chopped nuts, or cinnamon and let cool. Bon Appetit!
