Plum is one of the few fruits that aids in the elimination of cholesterol and improves digestion. But in cold weather it is practically impossible to get a plum, so you can stock up on delicious and aromatic jam.

1 kilogram of plums, 10 walnuts, 1 kilogram of sugar, half a liter of water

Step 1
Rinse the plums under cold water and let the water drain. Cut the plums slightly and remove the pit.

Peel the walnuts and divide into quarters. Put a piece of walnut in each plum.

Boil water, add sugar and stir until dissolved. Boil for 2 minutes.

Place the plums in a saucepan and pour over the sugar syrup. Put on low heat and bring to a boil.

Turn off the heat and let the jam cool (5-6 hours). Put it back on low heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Leave the jam until the next day.

Sterilize cans and metal lids. Bring the jam to a boil and pour hot into the jars. Roll up the lids.
Step 7
Turn the jars over, place in a dark place and cover with a terry towel. After 2-3 days, put the jam in a cellar, basement or any other cool place.
