Lovers of unusual tastes will like this original salad. The salad successfully combines raw beets with oranges and fresh mint. It is dressed with olive oil and vinegar, and almond flakes serve as decoration.
It is necessary
- For two servings:
- - 1 beet;
- - 2 oranges;
- - 50 g romaine lettuce;
- - half a bunch of fresh mint;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of almond flakes;
- - 1 st. a spoonful of red wine vinegar, olive oil;
- - salt, ground pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the romaine leaves, dry slightly, tear into small pieces with your hands. Peel the orange, cut it into thin slices, if you come across seeds - remove them.
Step 2
Peel raw beets, rub them on a coarse grater. Rinse fresh peppermint, tear off the leaves from it - only we need them to prepare the salad, or rather, to decorate it.
Step 3
Put the romaine lettuce on the plates, put the grated beets on top, arrange the orange circles beautifully.
Step 4
Now prepare a dressing for the salad: mix wine vinegar with olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste. You can also add a few cloves of garlic, chopped in a garlic press, to the salad dressing.
Step 5
Pour the dressing on top of the finished salad, garnish with almond flakes and mint leaves. It is advisable to let it brew for 20-30 minutes.
