Chicken is one of the staple meat ingredients in Asian cuisine. As a rule, it is cooked in a pan with the addition of various spices, vegetables and sweet and sour sauce. And such a dish is served with a side dish of rice or rice noodles.
It is necessary
- - 2 chicken breasts;
- - onion head;
- - Bulgarian pepper;
- - ½ chili pepper;
- - 2 cm of ginger root;
- - 1 glass of chicken broth;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of cornstarch;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sesame oil;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of honey;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce;
- - 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds.
Instructions
Step 1
Separate the chicken breast from the bones and cut into small cubes. Fry them until golden brown in sesame oil.
Step 2
Meanwhile, peel the ginger root and grate it. Chop the bell peppers, chili and onions at random. Add vegetables to chicken, stir everything and fry for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Step 3
Make a sweet and sour sauce. To do this, dilute the starch in chicken broth, add honey and soy sauce. Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained and pour into the pan.
Step 4
Simmer the dish for another 10 minutes, not forgetting to salt to taste. Then remove the sweet and sour chicken from the heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with rice noodles or boiled rice.
