For a family holiday, try home-made boiled pork. This dish is pork baked with spices, and it can be served as a hot or cold snack.

Step 1
Purchase good, non-frozen pork for home-cooked boiled pork. Rinse and dry the meat. Make one deep cut on both sides and stuff the garlic into the pork.

Make narrower cuts all over the piece and add the pieces of lard to the cuts. This will make homemade boiled pork more juicy and aromatic. Make a pepper, salt, and spice dressing. Quite rich is a mixture of parsley, dried dill, ginger, cardamom and carrots, finely chopped or grated. Dip the prepared meat in the mixture and wrap it tightly in foil.
Step 3
Roast pork in the oven. The optimum temperature is 200 ° C. Bake the boiled pork depending on the size of the piece. A long and narrow piece of up to 1.5 kg can be baked for an hour and a half. Keep round and heavier pieces in the oven for 20-30 minutes longer. Also note that baking pork at home will be easier and faster from a young pig than from an adult.
Step 4
Check the readiness of the boiled pork after an hour of baking. Open the foil slightly and try to pierce the meat with a narrow knife to the center of the piece. If the blade comes in easily and there is no feeling of poking through the rubber piece, the homemade boiled pork has cooked successfully. Also, this can be judged by the release of clear juice from it.

Remove the top foil and grill the pork for a few minutes. Serve hot or chilled. You can store boiled pork in the refrigerator for several days.
