Step 1
Wash the peas, put in a cup, pour over warm water and leave for 2, 5 hours. Then pour out the water. Cut lard and chicken into large pieces, put in a saucepan, pour 2 liters of water and boil.

Collect the foam, reduce heat and cook for 17-23 minutes. Remove the bacon and chicken from the saucepan, strain the broth. Put peas in broth, boil, then reduce heat and cook for 25-40 minutes.

Peel, rinse and chop onions, carrots and celery with a blender. Heat butter in a skillet, fry vegetables for 14-17 minutes.

Put chicken meat and fried vegetables in broth, season to taste, cook for 44-46 minutes. Cut the bread into small cubes, the bacon into pieces. In a preheated skillet, fry the bacon until crisp and transfer to a cup.
Step 5
Add butter to the skillet, lay out the bread cubes. Fry until golden brown, then stir in the bacon. Put the bacon croutons in the soup bowls.
