Pork and pineapple - these two foods with such different tastes will seem incompatible to many. Try to cook pork with pineapple in sweet and sour sauce. Believe me - delight is guaranteed.
It is necessary
-
- 500 g pork (boneless);
- 300 g canned pineapple chunks;
- 300 g red and green bell pepper pods;
- 150 g frozen green peas;
- 1 onion;
- 5 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- 2 tablespoons of wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1-2 tablespoons of granulated sugar;
- 1 bouillon cube;
- salt to taste;
- greens.
Instructions
Step 1
To cook pork with pineapple in sweet and sour sauce, cut the pork pulp into medium-sized cubes. Cut the bell pepper pods in half, remove the seeds and stalk, and cut into small wedges or cubes. Cut the onion into rings. Drain the canned pineapple in a colander and drain into a bowl. Dissolve the stock cube in 100 ml of liquid from the pineapple jar.
Step 2
Fry the pork in vegetable oil in a hot skillet. Pour 2 tablespoons of refined vegetable oil into a saucepan or deep frying pan, add bell peppers and onions and simmer with constant stirring for 6-7 minutes. Then add the cooked broth to the vegetables, season with tomato paste, soy sauce, add salt and sugar. Cover the pan and simmer the mixture for 5-7 minutes over medium heat.
Step 3
In a stewpan with vegetables, add the sautéed pork, pineapple pieces, frozen green peas, and wine vinegar. Cover and simmer until tender, about 10 minutes, over medium heat. Arrange on plates and serve, sprinkled with herbs. You can serve boiled rice for a side dish. The dish turns out to be original, with an "oriental" taste! Bon Appetit.
