Instructions

Step 1

To make pork puff pastries, cut the meat into thin slices 5 cm in diameter, beat them a little, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cut the onion into rings and the tomato slices. Roll out the defrosted dough to 3-4 mm and cut it into rectangles. From each layer, 9 blanks for pies are obtained. Place a piece of meat on each rectangle of dough, place a ring of onion on top, and a circle of tomato on top of it. Separate the egg yolk from the whites and brush the edges of the dough around the filling with it. Fasten the edges and press them lightly, using the teeth of a fork. Line the bottom of the baking sheet with baking paper. Lubricate the surface of the pies with yolk and bake them in the oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.

Step 2

Puff pastries can be made with boiled meat such as beef. To do this, cook the meat and turn it through a meat grinder. Cut the onion into cubes and fry in vegetable oil until soft. Dip the tomatoes in boiling water for 2 minutes, remove and peel. Cut them into cubes or chop them with a blender. The resulting mass of tomatoes contains a lot of water, which must be evaporated. To do this, put it in a pan and simmer for 10 - 5 minutes until thickened. Combine meat, onions and tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Roll out the thawed layer of dough to 35x40 cm. Grease the dough with tomato paste or ketchup. Cut the dough into rectangles, place the minced meat on top of them. Fasten the edges with a fork or with your hands. Brush the pies with egg yolk and bake the pies in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.

To prepare puff pastries from raw minced meat, fry it with onions in vegetable oil for 7-8 minutes. A couple of minutes before the end of frying, add diced tomatoes and bell peppers to the minced meat, pepper and salt. After the meat and vegetable mixture has cooled, stir in the grated cheese and herbs. Defrost and roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of 4 mm. Cut it into rectangles, place the cooked minced meat on each of them and pin the edges together. Brush the pies with egg yolk and bake for 25-30 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.
