Mushroom pies have been popular at all times and are deservedly considered a dish of Russian cuisine. With forest mushrooms, the delicacy turns out to be especially tender, aromatic and satisfying.

  • • 200 g flour;
  • • 500 g of forest mushrooms;
  • • 100 g of butter;
  • • 3 eggs;
  • • 1, 5 tsp. salt;
  • • 2 tbsp. cold water;
  • • 200 ml sour cream;
  • • 50 g of hard cheese.

Instructions

Step 1

First, let's prepare the dough. To do this, cut the well-frozen butter into small pieces, and mix the flour with ½ tsp. salt, combine everything and grind it well into small crumbs. Then add water and 1 egg and knead the dough, roll it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and put it in a cold place for 30 minutes. To make the mushroom pie more magnificent, sift the flour and add a little baking powder to it.

Step 2

While the dough is cooling, we make the filling. We wash the mushrooms well, peel, cut into small pieces and put in a saucepan, pour water and cook for 30 minutes. Prepare the filling for the pie: rub the cheese on a fine grater, mix 2 eggs and sour cream in a bowl, add cheese to them and salt to taste.

Step 3

We take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out 5 mm thick. Then we cut out a circle for a cake with a diameter of a baking dish. We transfer the dough to a baking sheet, pierce it in several places with a fork, make sides and put in the oven for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Then, to make a pie with mushrooms, take out the preheated dough, put the mushroom filling on it, add the sour cream and cheese filling, put in the oven for 30 minutes. Leave the cake in the form until it cools completely, then put it on a plate, sprinkle with dill and serve immediately.
