This semolina pudding has a pleasant creamy vanilla flavor that goes well with strawberry sauce. Due to its beautiful appearance, semolina pudding can be served as a dessert on a festive table.
It is necessary
- - 300 ml of milk;
- - 200 g fresh strawberries;
- - 200 ml of water;
- - 30 g of gelatin;
- - 10 g vanilla sugar;
- - 1 egg;
- - 5 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;
- - 4 tbsp. spoons of sour cream 21% fat;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of semolina;
- - 1 teaspoon of starch.
Instructions
Step 1
Soak gelatin in cold water. Bring milk to a boil, pour semolina into it, add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar. Cook regular porridge. Heat gelatin in a water bath, stir until it is completely dissolved.
Step 2
Separate the yolk from the protein. Stir the yolk into the semolina. Mix the cooled gelatin with semolina, beat the protein with vanilla sugar and 1 tbsp. spoonful of regular sugar, also gently stir into the porridge.
Step 3
Whip sour cream with 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar, stir in the mixture. Divide the pudding base into tins covered with cling film (to make it easier to remove the pudding later), put in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
Step 4
Make strawberry sauce. Put strawberries in boiling water, add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sugar, cook for 10 minutes. Strain the berries from the syrup. Dissolve the starch in a little water (you can dilute it in wine if you have nothing against alcohol). Add starch to syrup, cook until thick. Cool the resulting sauce.
Step 5
Place the frozen pudding on a plate, pour over the sauce, garnish with strawberries. The pudding turned out to be very tender and airy, few people will be able to guess that it is made from semolina - it is not felt at all in the dessert.
