This is a step-by-step chicken breast recipe with mushrooms, cheese and herbs. It uses affordable and cheap ingredients. It turns out a very tasty and easy-to-prepare dish that is suitable for any table.

It is necessary

    • 500 g chicken breasts
    • you can chicken fillet;
    • 200-300 g of champignons;
    • 3 small cloves of garlic;
    • one medium onion;
    • 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sour cream or mayonnaise;
    • salt
    • pepper
    • herbs (special mixtures can be bought at the store)
    • greens;
    • 2-3 st. tablespoons of flour;
    • vegetable oil;
    • 80-100 gr of hard cheese.

Instructions

Step 1

Preparation

1. Rub the garlic on a fine grater.

2. Wash the chicken breasts, separate the meat from the bones, cut into small pieces, salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with herbal mixtures. Don't overdo it with garlic and herbs!

3. To make the chicken meat more juicy, you can not rub it with garlic, but dip it in garlic water (pour the grated garlic with a glass of boiling water).

4. Leave to marinate for one hour.

5. Rinse the mushrooms thoroughly and cut into slices, the legs can be discarded.

6. Cut the onion into thin half rings.

7. Heat a skillet with oil.

Step 2

Mushrooms

1. Saute the onions in a frying pan in boiling vegetable oil until golden brown.

2. Add champignons to the onion, fry for 10 minutes, wait until the mushrooms release juice.

3. Put sour cream or mayonnaise, salt a little.

4. Simmer for another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Breasts

1. Dip the marinated breast pieces in flour.

2. Fry on all sides over high heat for 3-5 minutes.

3. Spread the fillet pieces evenly on the baking sheet.

4. In the chicken fat remaining in the pan, stir a tablespoon of flour very thoroughly (make sure that no lumps remain), add a little boiled water, stir, bring to a boil.

5. Pour the resulting sauce over the meat on a baking sheet.

6. Put in the oven (preheated) and bake for 15-20 minutes until almost completely cooked. The meat should become soft, with fibers well separated from each other.

7. Add the mushrooms along with the onions and the resulting sauce.

Step 4

Finishing touches

1. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

2. Sprinkle with herbs (parsley or dill, your choice).

3. Add cheese to the resulting mixture, wait 1-2 minutes (the cheese should melt).

4. Serve hot!
