It is necessary
-
- Liver (beef
- pork) 500g
- one medium onion
- sour cream 200g
- hard cheese 100g
- vegetable oil
- salt
- pepper mix
- knife
- board
- skillet
- shallow saucepan
- fine grater
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the liver under running water. Remove all films and bile ducts from the surface of the piece. Cut the liver into thin cubes, season with salt and pepper. Cut the onion into half rings, disassemble into its components. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
Step 2
Bring the onion to transparency in a preheated skillet. Transfer to a saucepan. Fry the liver over high heat for 3-5 minutes. During quick frying, the surface pores of the liver are sealed, and all the meat juice remains inside, which makes the finished dish juicy and soft. The liver cannot be kept on fire for a long time, it will be hard and dry. Transfer the liver to a saucepan. Add the juice from the pan left after frying there. Mix everything.
Step 3
Add sour cream and a glass of water (or broth) to the stewpan, season with salt and spices, close the lid and simmer in the oven for 40 minutes. 10 minutes before the end of the process, remove the saucepan, remove the lid, sprinkle the liver with cheese. Place an open dish in the oven until the cheese is melted and browned.
